My time is Yours Lord
Despite the act of giving my life to God, I still believed it was my life to live.

Here is a challenge: This year, instead of subscribing to ‘silly season’ with its frenetic activity and crazy pace, let’s pace ourselves with ample time to draw near to the One who cares for us more than our family or best friends.
“Let’s all dress up for Heritage Day in our traditional outfits!” I am filled with dread and mild panic every time I have heard this sentence coming from a well-meaning colleague.
“Heritage refers to something passed down to us, and Heritage Day celebrates the different nationalities and cultures within South Africa. While this is wonderful and beautiful to see, so much is busy changing.”
“.. women are not weak. They have never been.” The Bible is full of heroines of faith, virtue and grace.
“The problem with basing one’s identity on feelings it that your feelings change, they are circumstantial.”
“we have the gift to love one another, be devoted to one another and honour one another above ourselves”
“She (woman) has an irreplaceable role to play. We should stop disqualifying ourselves and step boldly into what we are purposed for.
Whether life has spun out of control or in the mediocrity of life, you get to choose your style. But! Hair isn’t everything.
Our world needs connection and love, hope that is real and an identity beyond what our earthly family can provide, with the resources of heaven available to help us overcome.
